Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Will Muralhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes SE Palmeiras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonard Aanuţei who took care of the corner kick. Leonard Aanuţei made a great header on FC Buzău's corner, it was just that SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas managed to reach the ball for a save. The throw-in from Vintilă Stoicea in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SE Palmeiras's Alfredinho Reis. Will Muralhas came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Buzău's Traian Balaban. But to his dismay, Traian Balaban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Traian Balaban in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Muralhas saved SE Palmeiras from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Strugure came free, but Will Muralhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Elenescu in the 28th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Vintilă Stoicea in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SE Palmeiras's Alfredinho Reis. Will Muralhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Elenescu in the 39th minute of the match. SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save SE Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avram Elenescu in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Muralhas saved SE Palmeiras from getting behind. In the 43rd minute FC Buzău were awarded a corner. Leonard Aanuţei went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 47 minutes, Giuseppe Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SE Palmeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giuseppe Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Vieira during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Alfredo Vieira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Will Muralhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Balaban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giuseppe Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gheorghe Baldovin made a huge save. SE Palmeiras were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after FC Buzău's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredinho Reis took the corner. The corner led SE Palmeiras's Alfredinho Reis to fire away a dangerous shot which Gheorghe Baldovin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rd minute Emil Strugure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Muralhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Balaban in the 65th minute of play. Avram Elenescu scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Will Muralhas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 69 minutes, Avram Elenescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Buzău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avram Elenescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the SE Palmeiras defense, Emil Strugure kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Will Muralhas. The SE Palmeiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Will Muralhas should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Traian Balaban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Will Muralhas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Elenescu in the 77th minute of play. Will Muralhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Strugure in the 81st minute of play. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Avram Elenescu sped through SE Palmeiras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Will Muralhas. Gheorghe Baldovin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes of play, FC Buzău's Augustin Cernat made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Will Muralhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Buzău fully deserved thier win.
