Argentino de Banfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Riedel in the 17th minute of play forced Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argentino de Banfield's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raimundo Castulo in the 21st minute. TIGER's Dida Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Nesor in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Castulo in the 24th minute of play forced TIGER's goalkeeper Dida Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Vasconcelos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Nesor got free with Dida Vasconcelos in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, TIGER's goalkeeper Dida Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Castulo. Dida Vasconcelos was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Lavan Querubin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lavan Querubin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Dida Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nunez Berasko went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. TIGER's Dida Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save TIGER from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Berasko in the 81st minute of play forced TIGER's goalkeeper Dida Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Lavan Querubin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Dida Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Raimundo Castulo sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, TIGER's goalkeeper Dida Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Nesor. 92 minutes into the match, Nunez Berasko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dida Vasconcelos, 1-4. After 96 played minutes Argentino de Banfield got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Jobo. The TIGER fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Argentino de Banfield were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
