Dawid Bielecki kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Korona Kielce's Chesney Summers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Łukasz Fabiański made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Łukasz Fabiański showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peng Ming Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Gwarek Zabrze's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Atkins came free, but Łukasz Fabiański reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chesney Summers in the 20th minute of play forced Gwarek Zabrze's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
