Pat Grier struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Leonides Valentine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebec city FC. After 6 minutes, Aurelio Nesor made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Quebec city FC's Buford Lim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Quebec city FC's Buford Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Berasko in the 10th minute of play. Buford Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lavan Querubin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buford Lim came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentino de Banfield's Aurelio Nesor. But to his dismay, Aurelio Nesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Quebec city FC's Buford Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Nesor in the 18th minute of play. Jerrell Wooten kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Merrill Rochon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Quebec city FC booed when Argentino de Banfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Sanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Harvey Rivard came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Quebec city FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harvey Rivard couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Nesor took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Buford Lim. Buford Lim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Argentino de Banfield's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harvey Rivard was slow to take the kick. During this time Quebec city FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebec city FC's goalkeeper Buford Lim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerrell Wooten in the 43rd minute of the match. Jerrell Wooten kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Buford Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lavan Querubin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicky Lacharité was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Argentino de Banfield getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lavan Querubin hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Harvey Rivard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Nunez Berasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buford Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buford Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lavan Querubin in the 57th minute of play. Quebec city FC's Buford Lim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Quebec city FC from getting a goal against them. Herman Hall's late challenge caught a Argentino de Banfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herman Hall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Herman Hall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buford Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Nesor in the 68th minute of play. Buford Lim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Castulo in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Nesor got free with Buford Lim in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundo Castulo came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Buford Lim could save by the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Quebec city FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lavan Querubin came free, but Buford Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Castulo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Buford Lim made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, Quebec city FC's goalkeeper Buford Lim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Nesor. Buford Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lavan Querubin in the 84th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Harvey Rivard put in a rough tackle. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nunez Berasko in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buford Lim saved Quebec city FC from getting behind. After 92 played minutes Quebec city FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicky Lacharité. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Aurelio Nesor took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Buford Lim to make any attempt to save it.
