In the 55th minute Niceto Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Supay Puka Huasi FC were awarded a corner. Lázaro Boniel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Supay Puka Huasi FC's Milton Melgar to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauricio Precioso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Supay Puka Huasi FC's Christian Benet pulled a muscle in his back after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 58 minutes into the game, Marcelo Noceda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Puerto Quito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Supay Puka Huasi FC the free kick. Supay Puka Huasi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
