Club Puerto Quito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Wes Benbow scored to the left of an out of position Mauricio Precioso, making the score, 1-0. Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Benbow in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Kurd Thiemer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Precioso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mauricio Precioso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurd Thiemer in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Victory F.C.'s zone, Jhon Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Søren Malman came out of the goal and Jhon Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurd Thiemer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Mauricio Precioso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Rufino Giron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Søren Malman was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If Wes Benbow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victory F.C.'s Wes Benbow managed to work through Club Puerto Quito's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Wes Benbow dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 39 minutes Victory F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jhon Costa who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Rufino Giron put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Søren Malman. Einar Weise kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rufino Giron was the one to do the kick off. Søren Malman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufino Giron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Kurd Thiemer made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Precioso. Club Puerto Quito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Kurd Thiemer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Precioso having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Rufino Giron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Victory F.C.'s Søren Malman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauricio Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurd Thiemer, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Kurd Thiemer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victory F.C. made a substitution. Claus Skoubo replaced Wes Benbow. Victory F.C.'s Søren Malman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufino Giron in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Skoubo in the 79th minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claus Skoubo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mauricio Precioso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victory F.C.. 87 minutes into the match, Jhon Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Søren Malman, 4-2. Moreta Besosa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Mauricio Precioso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Skoubo in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Club Puerto Quito getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Moreta Besosa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Skoubo in the 94th minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Victory F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Club Puerto Quito for much of the match.
