After 20 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by John-Arne Riise. Dirch Glerum made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Igor Tartalo sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Fillip Knutstad. In the 26th minute, Angel Bessone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Svanström in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Franja Dorada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Rozarius to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Hønning's Dirch Glerum got control of the ball when Silverio Jacob tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentin Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Arne Riise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirch Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Tartalo in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John-Arne Riise was the one to do the kick off. Betinho Beton kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Dirch Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Karlo in the 53rd minute of the match. If Angel Bessone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hønning's Dirch Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Jacob in the 84th minute of play. Angel Bessone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dirch Glerum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurids Hvenekilde to maneuver through the defense. Dirch Glerum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Jacob went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Ilie Zbârnea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Franja Dorada fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hønning had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
