Arvin Bollström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Puglielli in the 12th minute of play. Carlo Puglielli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC United's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Jestrimski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute Carlo Puglielli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Bollström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Lindholm kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevinn De Bruyne in the 32nd minute of play forced Ekerö IF's goalkeeper Arvin Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beniamin Bejger in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvin Bollström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ekerö IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Azam Chien-Kwan was slow to take the kick. During this time FC United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC United's Azam Chien-Kwan to fire away a dangerous shot which Arvin Bollström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, FC United's Zdzislaw Jestrimski got control of the ball when Bengt-Arne Biörnberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 played minutes Ekerö IF got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Wikander. Arvin Bollström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Bejger, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Arvin Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Puglielli in the 45th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edmund Lindholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Jestrimski was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmund Lindholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andreas Siöman scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zdzislaw Jestrimski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ekerö IF booed when FC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Barys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Zywiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zdzislaw Jestrimski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Puglielli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Arvin Bollström made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Tebaldo in the 74th minute of play forced Ekerö IF's goalkeeper Arvin Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigiusz Walec charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
