Cássio Soeiro started the match with the kick off. Murilo Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thorvald Egfjord's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The audience was convinced that Thorvald Egfjord's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Ferreira was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Soeiro came free, but Adolfo Grau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Rios in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Murilo Ferreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an all-out effort, Brujas KV's Murilo Ferreira threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thorvald Egfjord, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thorvald Egfjord in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murilo Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Buritama Sports's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when David Rios scored to the left of an out of position Murilo Ferreira, making the score, 1-0. Adolfo Grau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Soeiro in the 23rd minute of play. Adolfo Grau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Wei Sha, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brujas KV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teodoro Mazza was slow to take the kick. During this time Buritama Sports's players had a chance to rest. Buritama Sports's Teodoro Mazza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adolfo Grau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Fulgencio Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Thorvald Egfjord came free, but Murilo Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thorvald Egfjord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Ferreira having to interfere. When Fulgencio Nikola came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Brujas KV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Nikola couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Brujas KV's Esteban Eleazar was substituted for Oscar Costermans. Brujas KV made a substitution. Zachary Pliszka replaced Fulgencio Nikola. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachary Pliszka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brujas KV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harry Styles in the 57th minute. Brujas KV's David Rios was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Murilo Ferreira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. David Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Murilo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Thorvald Egfjord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Thorvald Egfjord managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brujas KV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thorvald Egfjord was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Grau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo da Fonseca in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute David Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan de Lara to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, David Rios made a precise shot to the right of Murilo Ferreira. Buritama Sports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. David Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Grau stood somewhat misplaced when Doriva Souto came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 81 minute. In the 85th minute David Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brujas KV's Adolfo Grau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Souto in the 86th minute of play. Murilo Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorvald Egfjord, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Wang Wei Sha hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vito Senna got free with Adolfo Grau in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Brujas KV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Adolfo Grau made a huge save. Abelardo da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Grau having to interfere. Brujas KV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
