Ove Orm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Trezeguet's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. The supporters of JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC booed when Elefanterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Hjort didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Trezeguet came free in the 17th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ove Orm, but to the joy of Elefanterna's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Ove Orm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Trezeguet in the 17th minute of play. Ove Orm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Trezeguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dan Van Caels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Olov Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firmo Cerda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Trezeguet in the 26th minute of play forced Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dan Van Caels's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ove Orm was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Ove Orm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Trezeguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ove Orm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Trezeguet in the 35th minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Herminio Florin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elefanterna's Ove Orm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Firmo Cerda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Paraense in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilmar Paraense to strike the kick off in the second half. Herminio Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Florin in the 57th minute of play forced Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Ove Orm managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Herminio Florin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Herminio Florin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ove Orm. That made the score 0-1 in the 59 minute of play. Ove Orm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Florin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ove Orm made a huge save. If Dan Van Caels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Firmo Cerda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Paraense in the 72nd minute of play. A hard shot 76 in the game by Herminio Florin from a close distance when the talented Ove Orm managed to make a qualified save. Elefanterna's players were relieved. 77 minutes into the match, Elefanterna's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Van Caels came free, but Ove Orm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Elefanterna's Ove Orm got control of the ball when Herminio Florin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ove Orm made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Herminio Florin sent off a good shot on target.
