When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Egil Eagle put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Belmiro Godoi. After some careless play in the Academia B.F. defense, Egil Eagle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belmiro Godoi. The Academia B.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belmiro Godoi should have stopped the shot. Egil Eagle took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Belmiro Godoi. Belmiro Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 19 minutes into the match, Egil Eagle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Belmiro Godoi. Academia B.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egil Eagle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After some careless play in the Academia B.F. defense, Egil Eagle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belmiro Godoi. The Academia B.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belmiro Godoi should have stopped the shot. After 26 minutes of play, Elefanterna's Nilmar Paraense made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belmiro Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Elefanterna booed when Academia B.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilmar Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Belmiro Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nilmar Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Egil Eagle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elefanterna's Yngve Uggla got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hjalmar Hjort came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Elefanterna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hjalmar Hjort couldn't finish the play. Egil Eagle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Academia B.F.'s Juvenal Cosme pulled a muscle in his back after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Nilmar Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Pereira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egil Eagle took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Belmiro Godoi. Belmiro Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Belmiro Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilmar Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Yngve Uggla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Belmiro Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. In the 69th minute, Nilmar Paraense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Belmiro Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Yngve Uggla might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Belmiro Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yngve Uggla ran back to his position shaking his head. Hjalmar Hjort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 75 minutes, Yngve Uggla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elefanterna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yngve Uggla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Nilmar Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elefanterna's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Eagle in the 80th minute of play forced Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Belmiro Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Egil Eagle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egil Eagle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yngve Uggla scored 13-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Belmiro Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elefanterna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
