In the 9th minute, Jeremias Lavalle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Afonso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jonatan Cidro charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Cidro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 15 minutes into the game, TALLERES DE CBA's Josué Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Lavalle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Antonio Bernard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ramon Lavalle made a huge save. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by TALLERES DE CBA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Candido Lavalle was slow to take the kick. During this time C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's players had a chance to rest. The corner led C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Candido Lavalle to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucio Afonso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to TALLERES DE CBA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rolando Fidensio hit a great ball. Lucio Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Cambiasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute, Erasmo Oxarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Lavalle was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Oxarra in the 33rd minute of play forced C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Ramon Lavalle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Cidro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Jeremias Lavalle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lucio Afonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Lavalle made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Antonio Bernard sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pika came free, but Ramon Lavalle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Lavalle hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efrain Cambiasso to make the kick off. Ramon Lavalle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Bernard in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match TALLERES DE CBA got a corner. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldo Pika ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalie and right to Celedonio Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Candido Lavalle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Afonso having to interfere. The TALLERES DE CBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. If Jeremias Lavalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, TALLERES DE CBA's goalkeeper Lucio Afonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Cambiasso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Oxarra in the 72nd minute of play forced C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Ramon Lavalle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Lavalle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Afonso having to interfere. TALLERES DE CBA's Hector Eneko was substituted for Erasmo Oxarra.
