Ermegildo Leocadio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jerry Stout made a huge save. Breno Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fahrettin Ulukut in the 21st minute of the match. Stefan Ingemarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Breno Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerry Stout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Arixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jerry Stout made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Leonel Gonzo sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Veritas F.C's Karamoko Bamba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Bastos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Veritas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fahrettin Ulukut. Scotland 1873's Breno Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Ingemarsson in the 38th minute of play. Jerry Stout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Arixo in the 42nd minute of play. Breno Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fahrettin Ulukut in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Karamoko Bamba made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Leocadio in the 52nd minute of play forced Veritas F.C's goalkeeper Jerry Stout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Karamoko Bamba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Breno Bastos. That made the score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Veritas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Leocadio came free, but Jerry Stout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mehmet Halis Samet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Ingemarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Breno Bastos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 76 minutes into the match, Veritas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Gonzo came free, but Jerry Stout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scotland 1873's Casimiro Arixo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Veritas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Gonzo came free, but Jerry Stout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Scotland 1873's Bradley McNuyer got a free kick in the 90th minute. With an all-out effort, Veritas F.C's Breno Bastos threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fahrettin Ulukut, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute, Fahrettin Ulukut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chants of Veritas F.C echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Scotland 1873 had held the ball for most of the match.
