The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Proença to maneuver through the defense. 3 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Florin came free, but Michel van der Bij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind BV Borussia Hammarby's goalkeeper Ingemar Samuelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Talento Futebol clube's Gualter Proença to fire away a dangerous shot which Ingemar Samuelsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Talento Futebol clube's Michel van der Bij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Kihlman in the 10th minute of play. Michel van der Bij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Kihlman in the 10th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes BV Borussia Hammarby got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Florin. In the 20th minute, Orvar Kihlman made a precise shot to the right of Michel van der Bij. Talento Futebol clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Talento Futebol clube's Michel van der Bij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Kihlman in the 28th minute of play. Michel van der Bij was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 47 minutes, Gualter Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talento Futebol clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcin Najman to make the kick off. Honorio Florin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel van der Bij having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Orvar Kihlman took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Michel van der Bij to make any attempt to save it. BV Borussia Hammarby's Hong Hao Fei was substituted for Honorio Florin. In the 63rd minute, Hong Hao Fei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BV Borussia Hammarby made a substitution. Quincy Qvalfeldt replaced Karl Springfält. Orvar Kihlman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel van der Bij read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talento Futebol clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anders Örtlund was slow to take the kick. During this time BV Borussia Hammarby's players had a chance to rest. The corner led BV Borussia Hammarby's Orvar Kihlman to a score. 0-5 in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Hong Hao Fei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BV Borussia Hammarby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Ingemar Samuelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Najman in the 77th minute of play. In the 87th minute, BV Borussia Hammarby's Orvar Kihlman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michel van der Bij. Michel van der Bij yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. 90 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's Orvar Kihlman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel van der Bij narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Talento Futebol clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BV Borussia Hammarby were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
