To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Jestrimski came free, but Luciano Ferran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Ceberiche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Roneros F.C.'s Witomir Jestrimski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Ferran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luciano Ferran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Jestrimski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Roneros F.C.'s Witomir Jestrimski in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Washington Piedrahita might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luciano Ferran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Washington Piedrahita ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the game, Roneros F.C.'s Witomir Jestrimski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After the first half Roneros F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Witomir Jestrimski to make the kick off. Witomir Jestrimski scored 0-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Ferran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute Adrian Orzaize shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaume Vasquez to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Jonas Ordono shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Ceberiche came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sαηgrε Azuɭ reached it. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's attentive Gösta Blomqvist managed to snatch the ball when Ke Yin made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Gösta Blomqvist in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Roneros F.C.'s Ortiz Apellaniz. In the 95th minute, Ke Yin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roneros F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
