Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aron Ghinescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pankracy Zawacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Resel in the 2nd minute of play. Damazy Kensicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Coleiro in the 8th minute of the match. Pankracy Zawacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koti Kot in the 9th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kudret Tüzer came free, but Pankracy Zawacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Meerkats FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shaun De Battista to maneuver through the defense. Pankracy Zawacki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koti Kot in the 12th minute of the match. Damazy Kensicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Ghinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Ghinescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damazy Kensicki came out and tried to block the shot, but Aron Ghinescu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Konrad Resel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zawacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Coleiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damazy Kensicki firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 32nd minute, George Axiaq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Resel came free, but Pankracy Zawacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Shaun De Battista came free, but Damazy Kensicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Thunderstorm Riders got a freekick which was hit by Kudret Tüzer.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kudret Tüzer was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawacki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kudret Tüzer. Pankracy Zawacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam dos Santos in the 63rd minute of play. Damazy Kensicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Abou Jisser in the 65th minute of play. Pankracy Zawacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam dos Santos in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Konrad Resel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zawacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes Meerkats FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Tudoran who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Shaun De Battista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meerkats FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shaun De Battista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damazy Kensicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thunderstorm Riders made a substitution. Daniel Houseman replaced Kudret Tüzer. Daniel Houseman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pankracy Zawacki having to make a save. Pankracy Zawacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Thunderstorm Riders's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
