The Hagmoren BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lasse Eriksson should have stopped the shot. After 7 played minutes Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ got a freekick which was hit by Chico de Brito. 8 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalkeeper Salva Santa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Volkan Saltık. Carlinhos de Brito hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Chico de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hagmoren BK were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İbrahim Efe Akarsu took the corner. Lasse Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico de Brito in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Alf Brander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Chico de Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Rosendahl in the 40th minute of play forced Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalkeeper Salva Santa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Mellberg made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by İbrahim Efe Akarsu. The Hagmoren BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chico de Brito to make the kick off. Salva Santa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 54th minute of play. Alf Brander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ made a substitution. Cipriano Baeza replaced Alf Brander. Yoakim Nakov hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A hard shot 65 in the game by Chico de Brito from a close distance when the talented Lasse Eriksson managed to make a qualified save. Hagmoren BK's players were relieved. Lasse Eriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico de Brito's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlinhos de Brito in the 70th minute. Salva Santa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoakim Nakov in the 78th minute of the match. Salva Santa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volkan Saltık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rdth minute of the game İbrahim Efe Akarsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Salva Santa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th match minute, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico de Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th match minute, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico de Brito to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hagmoren BK booed when Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salva Santa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İbrahim Efe Akarsu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Chico de Brito struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Lasse Eriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
