When Dorival Romero came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorival Romero couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the game, Anthon Mellbad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Franco Di Massa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bergandy's Franco Di Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Mellbad in the 29th minute of play. Franco Di Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthon Mellbad's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Anthon Mellbad scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Di Massa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anthon Mellbad might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Di Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But to his dismay, Fernando das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthon Mellbad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the game Andreas Asklöv made a throw-in which Thor Ståhlberg played forward. 55 minutes into the match, Bergandy's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Mellbad came free, but Franco Di Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Lu Liang Jian was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franco Di Massa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Garnier Rusterholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Granberg in the 58th minute of play. Bergandy's Franco Di Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Mellbad in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthon Mellbad in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Di Massa saved Bergandy from getting behind. Franco Di Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Velloso in the 96th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Bergandy's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Gabrielli came free, but Franco Di Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Lucas Gabrielli, in the 98th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bergandy's much stronger midfield.
