Esteban Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Ståhlberg in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Fernando das Neves notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Esteban Savion. Esteban Savion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thor Ståhlberg in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Savion saved CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS from getting behind. Fernando das Neves struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Esteban Savion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergandy. 22 minutes into the match, Fernando das Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Savion. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando das Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thor Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Savion having to interfere. The supporters of Bergandy booed when CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Thor Ståhlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Esteban Savion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esteban Savion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thor Ståhlberg went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Bergandy were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sven Granberg took the corner. In the 40th minute, Santiago Laurentzi had to leave the field with a concussion. 40 minutes into the game, Jack Eklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bergandy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bergandy's Jack Eklund got a free kick in the 41st minute. Franco Di Massa made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mariano Matthew sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes of play, Bergandy's Thor Ståhlberg made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteban Savion was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Bergandy were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's goalkeeper Esteban Savion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando das Neves. Fernando das Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Savion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando das Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the game, Sven Granberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bergandy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS the free kick. After 55 played minutes Bergandy got a freekick which was hit by Sven Granberg. If Mariano Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Savion was a little too slow when Thor Ståhlberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-8. Fernando das Neves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Esteban Savion when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bergandy made a substitution. Ingvar Molander replaced Fernando das Neves. Cristo Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Esteban Savion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Koch, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Mario Felipillo's late challenge caught a Bergandy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Felipillo helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS got a freekick which was hit by Mario Felipillo. Esteban Savion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Molander in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Granberg got free with Esteban Savion in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Mariano Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Matthew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Di Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute Mariano Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Di Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Koch came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Bergandy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Koch couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Koch in the 91st minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's goalkeeper Esteban Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bergandy's zone, Mariano Matthew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Di Massa came out of the goal and Mariano Matthew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Savion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Koch, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bergandy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
