Vasile Arosculesei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. America Futebol Clube SP's Miko Lehkosuo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasile Arosculesei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 minutes, Mark Keng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Notts County BR and the America Futebol Clube SP players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Váldson Paulista made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Fabiano Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Rasiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 played minutes Notts County BR got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Ilinca. The supporters of America Futebol Clube SP booed when Notts County BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dreas Jamieson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasile Arosculesei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Iago Bala got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 59th minute America Futebol Clube SP were awarded a corner. Dreas Jamieson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Fabiano Monteiro got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 59 minutes into the match. America Futebol Clube SP made a substitution. Jeronimo Rico replaced Iago Bala. Hugo Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Maksymilian Sobczak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasile Arosculesei skillfully saved the ball. Iacob Ilinca made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by America Futebol Clube SP's Laércio Amorim. Vasile Arosculesei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Rico's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Rico got free with Vasile Arosculesei in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeu Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. America Futebol Clube SP's Gwidon Wieloch was substituted for Maksymilian Sobczak. In the 75th minute, Tadeu Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes, Jeronimo Rico made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Notts County BR's Vasile Arosculesei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Notts County BR getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Betão Xavier hit a great ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Jeronimo Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Notts County BR's Vasile Arosculesei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 95th play minutes Jeronimo Rico shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Vasile Arosculesei and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle sounded America Futebol Clube SP left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Notts County BR.
