In the 2nd match minute, Knight Of Dawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porfírio Quirino to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes Knight Of Dawn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmílson Santos who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Anversa Club's Edmílson Santos to fire away a dangerous shot which Denis Urtats despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Anversa Club getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Mickael De Winter hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Anversa Club's Winarto Songgonau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denis Urtats. Denis Urtats yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Winarto Songgonau in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Urtats saved Knight Of Dawn from getting behind. With a little luck, Knight Of Dawn's Denis Urtats got control of the ball when Winarto Songgonau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Winarto Songgonau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Waut Van Der Meeren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiu Yuan Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiu Yuan Jun in the 32nd minute of play forced Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reiner Fallas in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Urtats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gregorio Caton struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Waut Van Der Meeren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knight Of Dawn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiu Yuan Jun in the 42nd minute of play forced Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Knight Of Dawn booed when Anversa Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waut Van Der Meeren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiu Yuan Jun, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Qiu Yuan Jun to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Cruz in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Urtats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Qiu Yuan Jun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waut Van Der Meeren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qiu Yuan Jun. Knight Of Dawn's Danilo Matro was substituted for Gregorio Caton. After a rather tough play, Anversa Club's Arnoud Rouvoet got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qiu Yuan Jun in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waut Van Der Meeren saved Anversa Club from getting behind. Anversa Club's Nestor Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmílson Santos struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Denis Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anversa Club. In the 87th minute, Qiu Yuan Jun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Knight Of Dawn's Qiu Yuan Jun in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anversa Club's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute Knight Of Dawn were awarded a corner. Celedonio Fonda went to the cornerflag to take it. Arnoud Rouvoet made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Knight Of Dawn's Porfírio Quirino.
