The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Zijdewind SC's zone, Flavio Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luuk Meppelink came out of the goal and Flavio Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Félix Fermosel made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zumar Gascon immediately put the ball in play. In the 12th minute of the match, Zumar Gascon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luuk Meppelink was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Barcelona de América's Dani Ganado got a free kick in the 16th minute. Giovanni Buskermolen kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jan ter Averst kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Dani Ganado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luuk Meppelink read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Barcelona de América's Zumar Gascon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luuk Meppelink. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Ferdi Dekens hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lorenzo Viergol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luuk Meppelink. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. Jan ter Averst hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Zumar Gascon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luuk Meppelink was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Zijdewind SC's Luuk Meppelink proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Zijdewind SC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th match minute, Zijdewind SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christijan Booy to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Barcelona de América getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Lorenzo Viergol hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Perez to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Barcelona de América's Flavio Perez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luuk Meppelink was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Gilmar Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luuk Meppelink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Viergol in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zayvion Ispuzua in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luuk Meppelink prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Zayvion Ispuzua put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luuk Meppelink. Zayvion Ispuzua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luuk Meppelink having to make a save. Zijdewind SC's Luuk Meppelink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zayvion Ispuzua in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luuk Meppelink made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Luuk Meppelink came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua. But to his dismay, Zayvion Ispuzua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 86 minutes in the game Sipke Kroon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gerard Kok. 86 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Zayvion Ispuzua came free, but Luuk Meppelink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan ter Averst hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Luuk Meppelink didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dani Ganado went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Luuk Meppelink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zayvion Ispuzua in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Zayvion Ispuzua notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Zijdewind SC's Luuk Meppelink. Luuk Meppelink was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Barcelona de América were the better team. Barcelona de América's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
