A well-hit corner resulted in Mateus Martins heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 29 minutes in the game José Paulo Romero did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cássio Tande. Mateus Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson Tinoco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Mateus Martins made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Tinoco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Nelsinho Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Khairil Lum had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Tinoco. Campeche FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Khairil Lum was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. São Miguel do Oeste.SC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Campeche FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teodosio Txordon took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Teodosio Txordon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nilson Tinoco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Luix in the 45th minute of play forced Campeche FC's goalkeeper Nilson Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of São Miguel do Oeste.SC booed when Campeche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Braga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nilson Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mateus Martins sent off a good shot on target. Delmar Luix took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Tinoco. Nilson Tinoco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Khairil Lum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Tinoco having to interfere. Dagoberto Rocha hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Campeche FC's zone, Teodosio Txordon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Tinoco came out of the goal and Teodosio Txordon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Abel Braga came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Campeche FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Braga couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Campeche FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dagoberto Rocha hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Khairil Lum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson Tinoco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Mateus Martins was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Mateus Martins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nilson Tinoco. That made the score 0-5 after 80 minutes of play. Nilson Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Nilson Tinoco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Khairil Lum showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 85 minute of play. Mateus Martins came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nilson Tinoco could save by the left post.
