Miguel Godoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lan Šorli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Godoy ran back to his position shaking his head. Lan Šorli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Jeraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Tiniebra came free, but Lan Šorli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek got a free kick in the 10th minute. Miguel Godoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lan Šorli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Juan Urti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 18 minutes on the clock, Rastislav Tomič commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Lan Šorli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Ekhi in the 20th minute of the match. Zlatko Goričan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Krsta Marn hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Urti came free, but Lan Šorli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Urti struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Lan Šorli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1989 Blxsk. In the 33rd minute, Juan Urti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lan Šorli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zlatko Goričan kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Jeraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Miguel Godoy made a precise shot to the right of Lan Šorli. HIT Gorica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 1989 Blxsk's Alvaro Tiniebra got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Godoy was the one to do the kick off. Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 51st minute Miguel Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lan Šorli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alvaro Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HIT Gorica's Lan Šorli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Godoy in the 55th minute of play. Severiano Jeraldo took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lan Šorli. Lan Šorli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. With a little luck, HIT Gorica's Lan Šorli got control of the ball when Guo Xi Chao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Urti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1989 Blxsk's Roman Arlo was substituted for Severiano Jeraldo. 1989 Blxsk made a substitution. David Mckinnes replaced Luke De Kelper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Arlo in the 69th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Lan Šorli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lan Šorli was a little too slow when Juan Urti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 74th play minute Roman Arlo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lan Šorli. 0-8. Miguel Godoy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lan Šorli came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Godoy slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 77th minute. After 87 played minutes Miguel Godoy rounded HIT Gorica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. Miguel Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Miguel Godoy made a precise shot to the right of Lan Šorli. HIT Gorica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. When the match was over 1989 Blxsk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than HIT Gorica throughout the match.
