Amancio Guzman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ken Urdal was a little too slow when Cevallos Provencio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Eugenio Llorienzo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Hakkı Deniz Bedi got a free kick in the 20th minute. Amancio Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Haitz in the 26th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Lisandro Haitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Ken Urdal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Zarando Eguizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cevallos Provencio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Astillero del Guayas's zone, Rey Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Long Yuan De came out of the goal and Rey Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zarando Eguizabal hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lisandro Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Long Yuan De breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Haitz came free, but Long Yuan De reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Cevallos Provencio. Long Yuan De stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Haitz's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Amancio Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Haitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Long Yuan De made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Haitz in the 54th minute. Long Yuan De made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Lisandro Haitz sent off a good shot on target. Yu Di Gang charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yu Di Gang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, CORNUDOS Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yu Di Gang to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Guzman came free, but Long Yuan De reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Haitz got free with Long Yuan De in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Zarando Eguizabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Long Yuan De managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Lisandro Haitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Astillero del Guayas defense, Lisandro Haitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Long Yuan De. The Astillero del Guayas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Long Yuan De should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rey Normando in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Long Yuan De prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Lisandro Haitz notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De. Long Yuan De was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Long Yuan De managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Lisandro Haitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 89th minute, Astillero del Guayas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amancio Guzman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of CORNUDOS Fútbol Club booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Deniz Bedi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Lisandro Haitz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De didn't even have to move. A collision led to Astillero del Guayas getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ziemowit Lampa hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CORNUDOS Fútbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
