With a little luck, CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Ken Urdal got control of the ball when Shen Xun Yu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Agbami Ijiyokun in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Modesto Tavio. Rey Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Billy Tunberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Brighouse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rey Normando came free, but Billy Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brighouse FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while CORNUDOS Fútbol Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
