Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ettore Placidi took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Ettore Placidi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carqueja's Lars Batzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Glasgow Rangers FC's Dave Clemente got control of the ball when Mario Vielva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 6 played minutes Glasgow Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Placidi. The audience was convinced that Ettore Placidi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Batzer was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Carqueja defense, Ettore Placidi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Batzer. The Carqueja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Batzer should have stopped the shot. Glasgow Rangers FC's Dave Clemente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Glasgow Rangers FC from getting a goal against them. The corner led Glasgow Rangers FC's Armando Natalucci to fire away a dangerous shot which Lars Batzer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Carqueja's Lauro Santandres got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Glasgow Rangers FC's Ettore Placidi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars Batzer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elizardo Massana to make the kick off. Dave Clemente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Alfredo Solares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glasgow Rangers FC's Comunardo De Paolis was substituted for Felice Perna. In the 65th match minute, Glasgow Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Bianchini to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Mario Vielva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Clemente was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 71stth minute of the game Ettore Placidi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carqueja's Lars Batzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan-Alfredo Solares took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Clemente. Dave Clemente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Glasgow Rangers FC's Dave Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ereinotz Masbernat in the 79th minute of play. When Ettore Placidi fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glasgow Rangers FC's protests and gave Ettore Placidi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carqueja booed when Glasgow Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Placidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ettore Placidi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carqueja's goalkeeper Lars Batzer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Placidi got free with Lars Batzer in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 88 minutes of play, Carqueja's Mario Vielva made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Clemente was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ettore Placidi came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Glasgow Rangers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Placidi couldn't finish the play. Carqueja made a substitution. James Lucena replaced Sandaili Trevijano. 95 minutes into the match, Carqueja's goalkeeper Lars Batzer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ettore Placidi. Carqueja's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
