Svante Wennersten hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Nils-Erik Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Banaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ke Zheng Xing in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Balaeț came free, but Nils-Erik Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymond Quintero hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Nils-Erik Jonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Krasinskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes, Raymond Quintero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zamalek FC and the Med Gang FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Raymond Quintero hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Balaeț in the 22nd minute of play forced Med Gang FC's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Med Gang FC's Ke Zheng Xing made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rhys Dimmock was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Quintero. Ke Zheng Xing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rhys Dimmock having to make a save. In the 31st minute Ke Zheng Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhys Dimmock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ke Zheng Xing went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Zamalek FC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Raymond Quintero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ke Zheng Xing was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's Ke Zheng Xing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rhys Dimmock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ke Zheng Xing in the 55th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Erik Jonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Fransesco Lindwall was slow to take the kick. During this time Med Gang FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Med Gang FC's Fransesco Lindwall to fire away a dangerous shot which Rhys Dimmock despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rhys Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Wennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Med Gang FC made a substitution. Cornel Todericiu replaced Jan Höijer. In the 64th minute Med Gang FC were awarded a corner. Fransesco Lindwall went to the cornerflag to take it. Fransesco Lindwall made a great header on Med Gang FC's corner, it was just that Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock managed to reach the ball for a save. Rhys Dimmock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ke Zheng Xing went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Zamalek FC made a substitution. Daron Joseph replaced Leonardo Lane. Ke Zheng Xing took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rhys Dimmock. Rhys Dimmock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Daron Joseph scored 5-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Erik Jonsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Exequiel Zeballos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 minutes of play, Med Gang FC's Exequiel Zeballos made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rhys Dimmock was left in no man's land by his defense there! Med Gang FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
