Steven De Keuster was slow to take the kick. During this time Ybarlucea F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Ybarlucea F.C.'s Steven De Keuster was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Shi Feng Yun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvinho Moraes got free with Florentino Eutor in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florentino Eutor was a little too slow when Silvinho Moraes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 25th match minute, São Wilson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Pirro to maneuver through the defense. Shi Feng Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matteo Mazzid in the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Steven De Keuster's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shi Feng Yun was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 31st minute Matteo Mazzid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Melchor Pirro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florentino Eutor. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. After 37 minutes, Geovanni Donato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Wilson and the Ybarlucea F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Geovanni Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shi Feng Yun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Olmedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Ybarlucea F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Marques to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Melchor Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Wilson's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Pirro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Eutor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven De Keuster made a kick off. Shi Feng Yun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matteo Mazzid in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun got control of the ball when Steven De Keuster tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven De Keuster in the 56th minute of play forced São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven De Keuster who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Shi Feng Yun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Florentino Eutor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörg Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 70 played minutes São Wilson got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Garcia. Enrique Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match.
