After taking down the ball on LEBRON's corner Epifanio Harkaitz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erlend Sørby quite easily take care of the ball. Erlend Sørby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Akram in the 17th minute of play forced LEBRON's goalkeeper Yin Chuan Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Harkaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erlend Sørby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Harkaitz in the 41st minute of play forced Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Erlend Sørby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Lautaro Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leeton United FC's Erlend Sørby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bjorn Gaffigan's late challenge caught a LEBRON's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjorn Gaffigan helped the player get up and apologised. Bjorn Gaffigan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Epifanio Harkaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erlend Sørby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Harkaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lautaro Acosta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lautaro Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 62 played minutes Leeton United FC got a freekick which was hit by Baal Muncaster. In the 63rd minute of the match Mariano Soin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erlend Sørby skillfully saved the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Wu Si Xiao in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LEBRON's Hasan Tønsager. Yin Chuan Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Akram, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Leeton United FC's Erlend Sørby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Leeton United FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Leeton United FC booed when LEBRON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Scharff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregory Krause blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yin Chuan Feng having to make a save. A collision led to Leeton United FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nero Bonham hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Mariano Soin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Leeton United FC's Erlend Sørby didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Pukallus in the 88th minute of play forced LEBRON's goalkeeper Yin Chuan Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Ernest Pukallus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yin Chuan Feng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LEBRON's Yin Chuan Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Anderson in the 90th minute of play. Erlend Sørby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Lopez in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes LEBRON got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Goito. Yin Chuan Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Anderson in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Ernest Pukallus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yin Chuan Feng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Leeton United FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while LEBRON had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
