Pierluigi Buffon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, KaoS Futbol Club's Amancio Semeno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Echegoyen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Yngve Örtendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Kaczucha having to interfere. In the 15th minute Miguel do Vale suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 15 minutes into the game, Igor Lebas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KaoS Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chute de Ouro FC the free kick. The supporters of Chute de Ouro FC booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Lebas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Senio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lluis Companys in the 20th minute of play forced Chute de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lluis Companys in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Narciso Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Echegoyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Simões received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dobromir Kaczucha came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivo Simões slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. In the 35th minute, Ivo Simões reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dobromir Kaczucha. The goal made the score 2-1. Dobromir Kaczucha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ivo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Eric Simion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dobromir Kaczucha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from León Ponzio in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chute de Ouro FC's Giovanni Nóbrega. A collision led to Chute de Ouro FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Giovanni Nóbrega hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lluis Companys in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Echegoyen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivo Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tor Echegoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierluigi Buffon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Noe. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Ivo Simões put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dobromir Kaczucha. Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lluis Companys in the 78th minute of play. Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Chute de Ouro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute Ivo Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Kaczucha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Echegoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierluigi Buffon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes of play, KaoS Futbol Club's Lluis Companys made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor Echegoyen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, Amancio Semeno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Tor Echegoyen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lluis Companys in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Echegoyen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, KaoS Futbol Club's Lluis Companys dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. After 97 played minutes KaoS Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by León Ponzio. 99 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lluis Companys came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
