GFG VOEL's Jes Linnig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coronel Paredes in the 4th minute of play. In the 21st minute Dionisio Zubizarreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jes Linnig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Dionisio Zubizarreta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GFG VOEL's Jes Linnig did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Katramados in the 28th minute of play forced Calaflores FC.'s goalkeeper Zenon Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jes Linnig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Zubizarreta in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute Coronel Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jes Linnig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquilino Damásio during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, GFG VOEL's Aquilino Damásio got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jesús Martín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jes Linnig having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the match Calaflores FC. got a corner. GFG VOEL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dionisio Zubizarreta ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Barros Cifuentes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fotis Katramados in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenon Suarez saved Calaflores FC. from getting behind. Barros Cifuentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jes Linnig made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, GFG VOEL's Tiburcio Luix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenon Suarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Jesús Martín could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Jes Linnig however easily saved by the left post. Zenon Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Katramados in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Katramados in the 91st minute of play forced Calaflores FC.'s goalkeeper Zenon Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
