In the 5th minute Alf Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Munio came free, but Dalmacio Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Marcelo Munio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dalmacio Paublo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Munio took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmacio Paublo. Dalmacio Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Anjullan AFC's Santiago Gentiletti got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Ekelund in the 17th minute of play forced Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Anjullan AFC's Dalmacio Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Deckberg in the 21st minute of play. In the 30th minute Younis Abo Al Hasan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Segelbut IF's Marcelo Munio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Paublo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After some careless play in the Anjullan AFC defense, Alf Ekelund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmacio Paublo. The Anjullan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmacio Paublo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Anjullan AFC's Hernan Lon got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half Segelbut IF were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Ekelund got free with Dalmacio Paublo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Anjullan AFC defense, Marcelo Munio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmacio Paublo. The Anjullan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmacio Paublo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Munio in the 70th minute of play forced Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henric Alefors in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Paublo saved Anjullan AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Segelbut IF getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Younis Abo Al Hasan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Benat in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornel Luncaniță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Segelbut IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
