Romeo Gaxan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Trancoso in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Eusébio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Zeca Brodel put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Romeo Gaxan. There was no doubt that The Beatles were the better team. The Beatles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
