Hjalmar Lidström made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Saul Goodman sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Hjalmar Lidström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Goodman. With a little luck, FC Momlinho's Hjalmar Lidström got control of the ball when Saul Goodman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Momlinho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francisco Veloso was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Verde FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Villa Verde FC's corner Francisco Veloso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hjalmar Lidström quite easily take care of the ball. Hjalmar Lidström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Goodman in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Koller came free, but Damian Mouricio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Goodman to make the kick off. Damian Mouricio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Hammarström in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Damian Mouricio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Koller. Abo Bakrs short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Damian Mouricio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd minute Luís Guilherme Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Momlinho booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Momlinho's Tor Lönn was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Luís Guilherme Cearense struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Hjalmar Lidström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Verde FC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Villa Verde FC had won after a very even match.
