Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Aang Pitono came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute Aang Pitono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emory Øien made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Emory Øien threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcelo Cordero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was a well-played corner which Conor Gallagher managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aang Pitono, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Aang Pitono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dražen Ladić having to interfere. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aang Pitono in the 24th minute of play. Nicollao Narbona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Emory Øien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aversa's Gísli Langnickel in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalie prevented a goal. Aversa's Emory Øien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aversa's zone, Marcelo Cordero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emory Øien came out of the goal and Marcelo Cordero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emory Øien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Kauã Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauã Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Marcelo Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emory Øien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gísli Langnickel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emory Øien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Cordero took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emory Øien. Emory Øien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 63rd minute, Marcelo Cordero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emory Øien was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gísli Langnickel in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Martín Ferreyra got a free kick in the 68th minute. Aversa made a substitution. Beppe Berardinelli replaced Anselmo Fulgenzi. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Haroldo Alfonso replaced Marcelo Cordero. Aversa's Flavio Di Giulio was substituted for Ferdinando Cesarini. Aversa made a substitution. Eerik Eha replaced Aang Pitono. After 70 played minutes Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a freekick which was hit by Martín Ferreyra. Emory Øien came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Haroldo Alfonso. But to his dismay, Haroldo Alfonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Emory Øien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Conor Gallagher was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emory Øien in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emory Øien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Alfonso in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aversa's goalkeeper Emory Øien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emory Øien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Flavio Di Giulio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Llorenc in the 94th minute of play forced Aversa's goalkeeper Emory Øien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
