Mátyás Gelencsér who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Agustín Rossi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Veresi Új Generáció defense, Naohiro Takahara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lénárd Erdélyi. The Veresi Új Generáció fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lénárd Erdélyi should have stopped the shot. Frontera AFC played a much better game than Veresi Új Generáció and deserved their victory. The Veresi Új Generáció players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
