Edmundo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Travassos in the 15th minute of play. Wolf's Edmundo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Travassos in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Wolf booed when Catugi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match, Valentin Gomez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Folke Österlund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Wolf fans cheered their team off the field, for while Catugi FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
