Unicorns ™'s Silviu Bogătan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Anselmino in the 24th minute of play. If Rareș Papadima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rareș Papadima got free with Peter Ivarsson in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rareș Papadima scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Ivarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Peter Ivarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Unicorns ™'s corner Alex Răduț fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Peter Ivarsson quite easily take care of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
