Fernandão Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Brânzaș in the 19th minute of the match. Fernandão Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Ciordaș in the 27th minute of play. Costică Ciordaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, SAO JOANENSE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Sorin Lipan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandão Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sorin Lipan went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, SAO JOANENSE FC's João Augusto Messias got a free kick in the 44th minute. Gugu da Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gugu da Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Gugu da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernandão Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costică Ciordaș's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The supporters of SAO JOANENSE FC booed when Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Bratiloveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes, SAO JOANENSE FC's Victor Linhares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernest Ştati came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 78th minute Costică Brânzaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costică Ciordaș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernandão Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Sorin Lipan took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernandão Linares. Fernandão Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ made a substitution. Ionuț Nicolescu replaced Nicodim Zogreanu. When Adam Bratiloveanu fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s protests and gave Adam Bratiloveanu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SAO JOANENSE FC booed when Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Bratiloveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sorin Lipan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Fernandão Linares when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
