Viseu United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NECKER49 the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Viseu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Oargă to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Bermund came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Caetano could save by the left post. Severiano Pasqual who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Caetano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Pordea to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by NECKER49's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adalberto Marquez was slow to take the kick. During this time Viseu United's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Amado Salazar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mauro Feo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 30 minutes, Hamílton Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viseu United and the NECKER49 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hamílton Linhares hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Pasqual got free with Jorge Caetano in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauro Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Salazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Amado Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Caetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Azevedo in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Severiano Pasqual made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Hipolito Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Hipolito Azevedo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Viseu United's Jorge Caetano. Jorge Caetano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, NECKER49's Severiano Pasqual got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NECKER49's goalie prevented a goal. Ziemowit Gdowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Feo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Viseu United's Mateus Valverde was substituted for Teobald Jekot. Viseu United's Valter Bentes was substituted for David Moreira. The supporters of Viseu United booed when NECKER49 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Bermund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Gdowski came free, but Mauro Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ziemowit Gdowski in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Feo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viseu United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
