The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sorin Lipan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Lop having to interfere. In the 3rd match minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Brânzaș to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Cristos in the 7th minute of play forced Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalkeeper Ernest Ştati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ORIZABA F.C. booed when Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Brânzaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Carolo Cristos got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 18th minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Ion Iftodi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cesar Lop. Cesar Lop yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of ORIZABA F.C. booed when Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Bratiloveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costică Brânzaș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Cesar Lop made a huge save. Ernest Ştati came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by ORIZABA F.C.'s Eloy Bonadona. But to his dismay, Eloy Bonadona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Soin in the 44th minute of play forced Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalkeeper Ernest Ştati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ion Iftodi fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s protests and gave Ion Iftodi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Iftodi to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Soin to make the kick off. The supporters of Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute Ion Iftodi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Lop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Denis Soin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Ernest Ştati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Denis Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Ştati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Denis Soin 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in ORIZABA F.C.'s zone, Ion Iftodi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Lop came out of the goal and Ion Iftodi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernest Ştati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Bonadona in the 84th minute of the match. Ionuț Nicolescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Cesar Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jonathan Etor fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ORIZABA F.C.'s protests and gave Jonathan Etor a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Etor hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
