The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Giosu in the 7th minute of play forced A.A.100Qualidade's goalkeeper Júnior da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, A.A.100Qualidade's Alfredo Leão got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Mihai Niță got a free kick in the 16th minute. Nilson Trevisan's late challenge caught a Stiinta-Univ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Ştefulescu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júnior da Silveira saved A.A.100Qualidade from getting behind. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Emanuel Băieșu hit a great ball. Júnior da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Aluncai, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Júnior da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Aluncai in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Manuel Aluncai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, A.A.100Qualidade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Paulista hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Giosu in the 46th minute of play forced A.A.100Qualidade's goalkeeper Júnior da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stiinta-Univ.'s Bogdan Lobonț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them.

The penalty shot was made by Mihai Niță, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of A.A.100Qualidade's Júnior da Silveira. 0-1. Matei Giosu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Mihai Niță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.A.100Qualidade's Júnior da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save A.A.100Qualidade from getting a goal against them. A.A.100Qualidade's Júnior da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Giosu in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, A.A.100Qualidade's goalkeeper Júnior da Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Ştefulescu. When the match was over Stiinta-Univ. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A.A.100Qualidade throughout the match.
