Hein Graf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dobromir Keep made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Lucas Oster sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, SV Bad Harzburg's Dobromir Keep threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodor Covaci, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Alberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Emil Soliwoda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tim Wiese quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tim Wiese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorom Kanø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hein Graf got free with Dobromir Keep in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Dobromir Keep had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 김 망절. Hein Graf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Keep having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Barniszke in the 33rd minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Jakob Alberg put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tim Wiese. Tim Wiese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorom Kanø in the 43rd minute of the match. Artur Kapinos charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Kapinos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Purple Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Kapinos to maneuver through the defense. When Welf Heinlein came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Welf Heinlein couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Schira was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Purple Shadows's Rafettin Üner got a free kick in the 52nd minute. SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorom Kanø in the 54th minute of play. Teodor Covaci took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dobromir Keep. Dobromir Keep dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Tim Wiese was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gorom Kanø showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 66 minute of play. Dobromir Keep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Oster in the 73rd minute of play. Jakob Alberg kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Lars Schira took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dobromir Keep. Dobromir Keep dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 84th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takeshi Bartkowiak to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Barniszke came free, but Tim Wiese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Kapinos kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Purple Shadows players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SV Bad Harzburg.
