Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Hellkvist in the 6th minute of play. Rune Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Orti, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Quico in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Söder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Firma Barnängen booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Quico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Björkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ambrosio Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Quilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Alcaraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 24th minute of play forced Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Rune Söder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Firma Barnängen's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Quico came free, but Rune Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Malvin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Stig Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firma Barnängen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Guaberto Quico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Söder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pablo Orti took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Söder. Rune Söder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Quico in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Söder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 48 minutes into the game, Marlin FC's Guaberto Quico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rune Söder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Marlin FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Alcaraz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Firma Barnängen's Patrick Kilström got a free kick in the 54th minute. João Pedro Pepe kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ambrosio Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Björkman in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Firma Barnängen's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Quico came free, but Rune Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Alcaraz came free, but Ambrosio Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Quicos short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Rune Söder to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 76th minute, Guaberto Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Firma Barnängen's Rune Söder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Firma Barnängen from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Orti got free with Rune Söder in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Björkman came free, but Ambrosio Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marlin FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
