The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when A.C. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Gerola didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Moreno Torricelli threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sport Club Mavericks's Conrado Sanches quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Florian Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Florian Moscatelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 27 played minutes A.C. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Franco Fava. In the 28th minute, Claudemiro Fragoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Club Mavericks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 36 minutes, Claudemiro Fragoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudemiro Fragoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the A.C. Patagonia defense, Deivid Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Moscatelli. The A.C. Patagonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Moscatelli should have stopped the shot. A.C. Patagonia's Florian Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Fantini in the 36th minute of play. Alejandro Adrio hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Xande Gay made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Enzo Bertolini sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes in the game Moreno Torricelli did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Roberto Baggio. In the 46th minute Claudemiro Fragoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Deivid Fantini made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudemiro Fragoso in the 51st minute of play forced A.C. A hard shot 89 in the game by Elder Arantes from a close distance when the talented Florian Moscatelli managed to make a qualified save. A.C. Patagonia's players were relieved. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sport Club Mavericks walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
