An unexpectedly hard shot by Rómulo Ventura in the 11th minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Giovani Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovani Cearense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rainerio Huidobro in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Andrés Villaseñor could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Giovani Cearense however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés Villaseñor in the 23rd minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Giovani Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Severiano Hasche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Anselmo Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. 100 Chance's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Larrañaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Talcampeón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrés Villaseñor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovani Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainerio Huidobro in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Rainerio Huidobro made a precise shot to the right of Giovani Cearense. 100 Chance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Tanio Lezaeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Giovani Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wellington Braga made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giovani Cearense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnaldo Teixeira hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Tanio Lezaeta struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Giovani Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talcampeón FC. Giovani Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainerio Huidobro in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 100 Chance's Luís Fábio Andrade got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the 100 Chance defense, Rainerio Huidobro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovani Cearense. The 100 Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovani Cearense should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Andrés Villaseñor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Larrañaga made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Wellington Braga sent off a good shot on target.
