After 7 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by André Roriz. In the 9th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Gama to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Anthonio Zeppeli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heitor Peseiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Zernin Mendivil came free, but Heitor Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Messi in the 28th minute. Garanhão do SUL's Heitor Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthonio Zeppeli in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Anthonio Zeppeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Peseiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Peseiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthonio Zeppeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Spychalski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Edgar Spychalski hit a great ball. Nicky Butt kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthonio Zeppeli to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Catarino Macena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ruperto Oxarra came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Oxarra couldn't finish the play. Felipe Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Messi in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, André Roriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Roriz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Fabrício Águas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Heitor Peseiro made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ruperto Oxarra sent off a good shot on target. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emmanuel Vilaprenyo in the 68th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Anthonio Zeppeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthonio Zeppeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Anthonio Zeppeli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Heitor Peseiro. Anthonio Zeppeli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 77 minutes Garanhão do SUL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emmanuel Vilaprenyo who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Anthonio Zeppeli got a free kick in the 81st minute. When António Gama fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave António Gama a yellow card for diving instead. António Gama hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Ruperto Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Heitor Peseiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Jose Villarmerin managed to get in a good position for a shot. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Villarmerin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heitor Peseiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Gama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthonio Zeppeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
