Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Danilo Fidensio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Tome was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to 17 de enero team getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Augusto Petrigai hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's Pascoal Antas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Tome narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pascoal Antas took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Tome. Melquiades Tome dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascoal Antas in the 27th minute of play forced 17 de enero team's goalkeeper Melquiades Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, 17 de enero team's goal looked a bit too open when Pascoal Antas came free, but Melquiades Tome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascoal Antas scored 0-5 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Tome, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 minutes of play, FC Fura Balizas's Pascoal Antas made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Tome was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind 17 de enero team's goalkeeper Melquiades Tome, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 minutes 17 de enero team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Vides who took care of the corner kick. In the 42nd minute, Pascoal Antas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Tome was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 46 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's Pascoal Antas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Tome narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FC Fura Balizas booed when 17 de enero team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half FC Fura Balizas were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Pascoal Antas made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Tome. 17 de enero team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 56th minute, Pascoal Antas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Tome. The goal made the score 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascoal Antas in the 60th minute of play forced 17 de enero team's goalkeeper Melquiades Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Pascoal Antas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 17 de enero team's Melquiades Tome was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute FC Fura Balizas were awarded a corner. Alberto Vides went to the cornerflag to take it. Ricardo Atarratze was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 66th minute, Augusto Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's André Palmeira got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Melquiades Tome stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascoal Antas's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Melquiades Tome was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pascoal Antas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 80 minute of play. FC Fura Balizas's Nuno Oliveira was substituted for Ricardo Atarratze. FC Fura Balizas's Homero Saraiva was substituted for Alberto Vides. Pascoal Antas might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Tome. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascoal Antas ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 de enero team's Melquiades Tome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascoal Antas in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascoal Antas in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Tome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pascoal Antas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melquiades Tome made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascoal Antas in the 93rd minute. The 17 de enero team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Fura Balizas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
