The tension between the Pinhote FC and the Valiant F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute of the match, Charles Windsor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adélio Belém was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Israel Novais hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Valiant F.C's David Chadwick in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinhote FC's goalie prevented a goal. Darren Tubbs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Israel Novais went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Adélio Belém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Fawell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valiant F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zane Read in the 34th minute. Darren Tubbs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Carvalhal went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, Leandro Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darren Tubbs. Valiant F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Lencastre in the 43rd minute of play forced Valiant F.C's goalkeeper Darren Tubbs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Novais came free, but Darren Tubbs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Adélio Belém had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charles Windsor. In the 48thth minute of the game Dale Fawell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinhote FC's Adélio Belém was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Valiant F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pinhote FC were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Novais made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Eusébio Mourato notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Valiant F.C's Darren Tubbs. Darren Tubbs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dale Fawell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Adélio Belém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adélio Belém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Windsor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gualter Lencastre hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Charles Windsor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adélio Belém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Isidoro Velasques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 85th minute, Pinhote FC's Fernando Carvalhal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Darren Tubbs. Darren Tubbs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. 90 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goalkeeper Darren Tubbs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Novais. 92 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Carvalhal came free, but Darren Tubbs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinhote FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
